Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips Review

I was fortunate enough to receive from Influenster these strips to test out.  I am always skeptical about anything that claims to whiten teeth.  I have tried products in the past and they let me down.  I have sensitive teeth so usually whitening products bother me.  Not so with the Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips.  They are really easy to use.  You apply once a day for 30 minutes.  That's it.  Nothing complicated.  They were gentle on my teeth and within a few days I saw a noticeable difference in the color of my teeth.  I used them the full 20 days and was incredibly surprised and impressed with how great my teeth looked. I would definitely use these again and highly recommend that you give this product a try if you are looking for something that gives immediate results.

I am disgusted

Watching the coverage of Sandy about my old hometown of Staten Island, NY makes me sick.  I cannot believe how people are starving, flooded and basically forgotten.  The wonderful politicians of NY seem to forget that Staten Island is part of New York.  In the past, every snow storm that occurs it is the last place to be cleared.  So it shouldn't surprise me to see how the residents are not being helped.  The Mayor is allowing a marathon to take place which starts in Staten Island.  Oh yes let's have that happen while people have no power, phone, gas, food or any basic necessities.  After the SI borough President went on television and basically called out the Mayor and everyone else, magically the Red Cross was due to show up as well as FEMA.  That shouldn't happen.  I can only imagine how long it will take to get the help that's needed.  It's disgusting.

Welcome to my world!

Well here's my very first blog post.  I wanted to create a blog where I can share some rants and raves with everyone and have folks be able to vent and share as well.

Today I have to rave about my decision to move from New York to Tennessee.  I lived in NY my whole life but never really fit in with the culture.  I'm not a big fan of a fast pace of life.  The commute was awful.  Sometimes I would sit on a bus to work for two hours.  Can you imagine that?  You could fly to TN in that time.  The cost of living is totally ridiculous as well.  I knew the time to make the move was now.  Took awhile to sell my house.  I'm renting a brand new house with brand new appliances and everything for a fraction of what my mortgage was.

And yes weather was a major factor.  In the winter, I was snowed or iced in my house for days at a time.  We usually lost power too for days at a time.  So I'm looking forward to not having to deal with blizzards.

I'm learning to deal with the niceness of folks and hearing ma'am all the time.  So far I think this was a great decision on my part.

So for those out there have you ever made a major move?  And was it all that you hoped it would be?
